Castro goes 4-for-5 in Surf Dawgs Win
|
The San Diego Surf Dawgs beat the Milwaukee Milkmen, 8-3, at Milkmen Ballpark. San Diego first baseman Héctor Castro had the hot bat. He was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. San Diego has 4 straight wins, Milwaukee 3 straight losses.
Had Castro not come through in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Castro hit a run-scoring single. The Surf Dawgs never looked back after taking the 4-3 lead.
