Millers Top Seawolves, 2-1
|
Minneapolis Millers starter Kire Rellim was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Erie Seawolves, 2-1. The win brings the Millers to 16-11, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
The Millers procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Wilson Pérez. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
"Every loss stings," said Erie manager Tyler Roberts. "This one is no exception."
