Milwaukee rode a good effort from starter Sam Trucke to beat the Erie Seawolves at Safeco Field. The final score was 3-2. Earning his 2nd save for Milwaukee was Steve Beacon. The defeat makes Erie 13-13.

Milwaukee used a timely hit from Steve Lanese to get the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Milkmen ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Lanese attributed the win to his team's "hyper resolve."
