Nashville Wins, 4-1, in Extra Innings
|
Nashville starter Jeff Keniston pitched well against the Charlotte Knights at The Horse Shoe. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. António Mora closed the game out for Nashville, earning his 8th save. The Knights are now 8-16.
Tony Hernández, the 33-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Hernández contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the 13th inning to put Nashville up, 2-1.
"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Keniston.
