Milwaukee Gets 3-2 Win
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Milwaukee Milkmen and the China Grove Samurai, Sam Trucke was the difference-maker. The Milwaukee left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. China Grove drops to 5-14.
Milwaukee used a well-timed hit by Josh Milinovich to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Milkmen ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Trucke said.
