Austin Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in Divisional Series
Riding the 3-hit performance of right fielder César Lerma, the Austin Bats stopped the visiting China Grove Samurai, 6-3, in Game 3 of the CBL Divisional Series. Lerma went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Bats, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Jeremy Bosh, who finished 5th in the HL in runs with 91 in 2059, helped out the Austin cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the first baseman was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We haven't forgotten how long this series might be, but 2-1 is a heck of a lot better than 1-2," Bosh said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dell Diamond in Albuquerque.
