CBL Divisional Series Game 1 Goes to China Grove, Thanks to Touchton
The CBL Divisional Series got off to a quiet start, with the host China Grove Samurai taking a low-scoring, 2-0 win over the Austin Bats. China Grove right-hander Dave Touchton was marvelous at Thunderdome. The Samurai now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Touchton allowed no runs on 2 hits over 6.2 innings for the Samurai. He walked 2 and struck out 8.

Touchton said his team "played with focus."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Thunderdome in China Grove.
