Outlaws Score Late, Top Milkmen, 4-2
|
Getting offensive support from Joe Del Viscio, the Nashville Outlaws topped the Milwaukee Milkmen, 4-2. Del Viscio belted 2 home runs for the Outlaws. Nashville reliever Joey Liva picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. J.R. Ouzts took the loss. António Mora sewed up the save, his 4th.
Del Viscio had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-1 fastball from J.R. Ouzts, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Outlaws a 3-2 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Del Viscio.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Del Viscio said.
The Milkmen, now 4-12, continue their inauspicious start.
