Outlaws Suffer 4-2 Loss to Dreamers
|
California pitcher Tony DeMaio did his part in helping his team beat the Nashville Outlaws, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Caden Zwier earned save number 2 this season. The Outlaws fall to 5-7 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2053 season.
The Dreamers got a big at-bat from left fielder Ben Gladys. For the game, Gladys went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave California a 2-0 lead.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Gladys told the California News.
