The Milwaukee Milkmen got a stellar performance from pitcher Steve Beacon, who handcuffed the Vancouver offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Milkmen Ballpark. The last-place Milkmen go to 68-89.
Carlos Valderrama, who is tied for 6th in the FL in triples with 4, chipped in for Milwaukee with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
