Cowick Hurls Seawolves to 7-0 Shutout Win
Lou Cowick had an impressive outing at Petco Park, hurling the Erie Seawolves to a 7-0 shutout victory over the San Diego Surf Dawgs.

"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," San Diego skipper Matt Davidson said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."

On the day, the right-handed Cowick yielded 2 hits and tallied 6 strikeouts with no walks.
