Scrappers Listless in 8-0 Loss to Blues
|
It was a long day at the plate for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers at Gateway Field today. They never figured out Memphis Blues starter Albert Espinosa and were shut out 8-0. The right-hander baffled the Scrappers the entire game, yielding no runs and giving up 4 hits in a well-pitched outing. Espinosa also totaled 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in the game.
This year Espinosa has compiled a 5-5 mark with a 3.61 ERA.
