Bats Topple Dreamers with Late Rally
|
The Austin Bats trumped the California Dreamers, 7-3, at M&P Park. Austin second baseman Ernesto Campos was terrific. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The loss makes California 76-57.
Sam Tette, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Tette contributed a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put Austin up, 7-3.
Campos attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
