Reyes Delivers Walk-Off Win for Seawolves
|
The Erie Seawolves dumped the Memphis Blues, 9-8, in large part due to first baseman Mike Cassone. On the day, Cassone belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Seawolves. Erie reliever Steve Davidson was credited with the win, to go to 3-3. Bob Prial took the loss for Memphis. With the win, the Seawolves hiked their record to 70-62.
The Seawolves procured the win, in large part because of pinch hitter Esteban Reyes. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"The house was rockin'," said Reyes.
