Scrappers Beat Bats, 6-1

Manolo Rivas, who is a five-time All-Star, came through for Mahoning Valley with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the fifth. The third baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 4 RBI.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Scrappers manager Delino DeShields Jr., "I like our chances."
