Seawolves Win, 5-3, at Milwaukee
|
Starting pitcher Mike Rencher pitched well enough to help the Erie Seawolves beat the Milwaukee Milkmen, 5-3. Ken Clabeaux, credited with the save, is now 3 for 7 in save opportunities. Erie is now 60-69, while Milwaukee is 48-80.
Alvin Lizak, the 24-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Lizak contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Erie up, 5-0.
"It's still just a game," said Lizak, "whether you win or lose."
