The Chicago Dogs picked up a win at New Northwest Stadium, downing the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, 3-0. On the mound for Chicago was right-hander Ty Mosser, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win elevated the Dogs to 66-58.
Mosser allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8.2 innings for the Dogs. He walked 1 and struck out 7.
"Ty pitched the ball pretty freaking great," said Chicago manager Kenny Diaz.
