The Erie Seawolves took on the Charlotte Knights at The Horse Shoe.

The Erie Seawolves stopped the Charlotte Knights, 7-3, at The Horse Shoe. The Seawolves got a big game from Dexter Morgan, who went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Erie reliever Desi Chipps picked up the win, raising his record to 2-2. António Varele was tagged with the loss.

Morgan had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch slider from António Varele, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Seawolves a 6-3 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Morgan.

"Enjoyed this one," Morgan told the Erie Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The Knights, at 62-63, have lost 4 straight games.
