Pitcher Shaun Edinger was sensational for the Milwaukee Milkmen in his team's 2-0 triumph over the Erie Seawolves. Edinger earned the win. Cliff Peterson earned the save, his 4th in 6 tries. After today's action, Milwaukee sits at 57-59, while Erie falls to 62-55.

Milwaukee used a well-timed hit by Carlos Valderrama to capture the win. The shortstop socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Milkmen ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"Shaun just settled in and did what he does," said Milwaukee manager Nate Lee.
