The Minneapolis Millers picked up a win at Paul Bunyan Stadium, knocking off the Washington Generals, 3-0. Starting pitcher Tim Turner played a key role in the triumph. Ed Fish was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 23 of 25 save opportunities. With the win, Minneapolis raised its record to 61-39.
Turner scattered 4 hits over 8 innings for the Millers. With the win, Turner moves to 11-6 on the year with 101 strikeouts.
