Sacamano, Outlaws Wallop Seawolves, 11-2
|
Bob Sacamano left his imprint on the 11-2 Nashville win against the Erie Seawolves. Sacamano, who is tied for 2nd in the FL in RBI with 54, was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Nashville has now won 3 straight, while the Seawolves have lost 3 in a row.
With Nashville leading 7-2 in the bottom of the eighth, Sacamano came up to bat against Erie pitcher Ken Clabeaux. Sacamano hit a cutter to left for a grand slam home run. His 17th home run of the season put the Outlaws on top, 11-2.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Sacamano.
