Liberty Win, 11-1, at Washington
Philadelphia and Washington got after it at Palmer Stadium.

Philadelphia Liberty starter José Sprow had all his pitches working at Palmer Stadium. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 11-1 Philadelphia win over the Washington Generals. The win puts Philadelphia at 42-34 this season.

Philadelphia relied on the hitting of Kaleb Jon Carico to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Liberty on top, 5-1. For the game, Carico had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Washington manager Matt Pulley. "We got flat-out beat."
