Getting an impressive start from Ty Mosser, Chicago beat Minneapolis by the score of 5-2. The win for the Dogs lifted their record to 38-35.
Chicago took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Benjamin Franklin Pierce hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Dogs.
Said losing manager Kurt Olsen: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
