Seawolves Deal Milkmen 3-2 Loss
|
The Erie Seawolves took Milwaukee pitcher Jeff Perkins's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Milkmen Ballpark. The final score had Erie getting past the Milkmen, 3-2. Perkins went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 9. With the win, the Seawolves have a record of 43-26.
Clarence Bellotti, who signed a 7-year contract worth $196,000,000 on 12/22/2055, had a direct impact on the outcome. Bellotti contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third inning to put Erie up, 2-1.
"It was a hard game, a hard night," said Milwaukee skipper Nate Lee.
