Outlaws Edge Millers, 4-3
|
The Nashville Outlaws knocked off the Minneapolis Millers, 4-3, at Olympic Stadium. Joe Del Viscio was a big reason Nashville won. The first baseman was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times. The win elevated the Outlaws to 35-32.
Nashville second baseman Mauro Arrey helped the Outlaws go up, 4-3, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Arrey hit a run-scoring single off Minneapolis pitcher Jeff Bean.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Arrey told the Nashville Times.
