Grizzlies Edge Milkmen, 4-3
|
The Vancouver Grizzlies topped the Milwaukee Milkmen, 4-3, in Frontier League action at Milkmen Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Vancouver pitcher Juan Alemán. Von Harkenrider notched his 4th save in 4 chances. The win elevated the Grizzlies to 35-25.
Vancouver used a clutch hit from Dan King to get the win. The second baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Grizzlies ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," King told the Vancouver Daily News.
