Generals Stick Samurai with 6-1 Loss
|
Washington Generals starter Alex Dugar was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the China Grove Samurai, 6-1. China Grove, at 24-34, has lost 4 straight.
The Generals got an important contribution from second baseman Myron Pennekamp, who in the bottom of the second punched a 3-1 fastball into right for a run-scoring double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Generals ahead, 2-0.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Dugar said.
