Star of the Week Selected in FAAA Monday, July 20th , 2076 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Brent Gibson, the Kitchener Rangers 21-year-old left fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for FBL Triple A Player of the Week honors. He ripped 12 hits in 26 at-bats, compiling a .462 average with no home runs and 4 RBIs. Gibson is batting at a .309 pace this season, picking up 97 hits in 314 at-bats with 9 home runs, 43 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
