Norrell Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Minotaurs Tuesday, June 12th , 2063 It was a special day for Clark Norrell, but less so for the Rocky Mountain Oysters. Norrell slammed three home runs against the Mobile Minotaurs, but the Minotaurs outhit him and got the win by a score of 9-5. "Lately, I been uppercutting the ball too much. I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark," he said to sportswriters after the game. "No big long outs for me in this game -- I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot three times. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The Rocky Mountain center fielder finished the day at Ballpark of Mobile with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored. Clark Norrell struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kagen Ortiz in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Estes bin Nawaf in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Bernie Chandramouli in the 9th. In 47 games this season Norrell is batting .318 with 55 hits and 11 home runs. He has scored 40 runs and driven in 37. |
