Rochester Loses Martell Zhang Sunday, May 12th , 2069 The Monarchs received bad news this morning. Martell Zhang will miss 4-5 months due to shoulder inflammation. He sustained the injury in the Rochester-Rocky Mountain game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Zhang sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." So far this year, Zhang has 1 save in 8 relief appearances with a 0-1 record and 3.60 ERA. |
