Shelton Selected PIL's Best Pitcher Friday, July 1st, 2044 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Dominik Shelton, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Chesapeake Mallards closer, 21, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .182 average and walked away with the Pilsner Pitcher of the Month award for June. Shelton posted a 3-0 mark and a 0.81 ERA in no relief appearances. In 22.1 innings, he had no saves, 17 strikeouts, and 3 walks. Looking at his season stats to date, Shelton has no saves in no relief appearances with a 6-0 mark and 2.54 ERA. |
