Blackbirds Advance to Divisional Series Wednesday, September 13th , 2062 The Omaha Blackbirds appear poised to make a serious run at the Rookie Cup after a convincing sweep over the Mobile Minotaurs in the Wild Card. It's now on to the Divisional Series for Omaha, who won the final game 4-2 and took the series 2-0. "Everyone's doing their part and things are falling into place," said Omaha center fielder Chase Johnson, who was named series MVP. "It feels like a special year." For the series, Johnson hit .375 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs.
