Top POR Reliever Honored Thursday, October 9th , 2059 Kayden Garrido was a calming influence out of the Austin Rustlers bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 19-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Porter Reliever of the Year Award for 2059. The Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic native won the award with 17 saves in 29 relief appearances, 65 strikeouts in 72 innings and a record of 4-4 to go with his 2.75 ERA. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Mitch Warren of the Cleveland Bobcats finished second in voting, while Herman Mauleon of the Omaha Blackbirds finished third.
