Cook Parks 3 HR in the Seats

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Tulsa Grounds buzzing, Raleigh Oaks catcher Mitchell Cook blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 7-5 win over the Tulsa Twisters.
"Everything was clicking," Cook told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Cook shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Oaks manager Jimmy Myers said. "Mitchell played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Mitchell Cook hit a solo-shot off Johnny Clay in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Zach Corner in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Zach Corner in the 8th.
This season Cook is hitting .249 with 86 hits, 19 home runs, 56 RBIs, scored 55 runs and played in 100 games.
