Omaha Takes Divisional Series Tuesday, September 16th , 2059 Many baseball pundits expected a close series in the Porter Divisional Series. It turned out quite a bit different. The Omaha Blackbirds swept aside the Rocky Mountain Oysters to advance to the League Championship, winning the final game by a 5-3 score at Colorado Field. The series MVP was right fielder Ulisses Muacho, who hit .667 with a .700 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. "We expected this series to go right down to the wire, so to sweep is a bit of a surprise," he said. "But we'll take it."
