Courtney Wins PIL's Best Bat Award Monday, September 1st , 2059 Casey Courtney may be much younger than other hitters in the Pilsner, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old Norfolk second baseman hit .449 with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This year Courtney is batting .355 with 12 home runs and 43 RBIs. |
