Albany Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Tuesday, August 26th , 2059 Mason Kucharczyk said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Albany Chiefs after they missed the BLB Rookie League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Chiefs have missed the playoffs 27 times in their 31 years as a BLB Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2054. In the last 10 seasons, the Chiefs have made the playoffs 2 times. |
