Mallards Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, August 25th , 2059 It's back to the drawing board for the Chesapeake Mallards. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Mallards have made the playoffs 8 times in their 31 years as a BLB Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2056. In the last 10 seasons, the Mallards have made the playoffs 3 times. |
