Austin Wins Top Spot in Porter West Division Saturday, August 23rd , 2059 There's still a ways to go before the BLB Rookie League regular season wraps up, but there won't be any drama in the Porter West Division. The Austin Rustlers have easily clinched the division crown, their 8th as a franchise. "We did what we set out to do, you can't ask for any more than that," said starting pitcher Tony Whitley. Team manager Brendon Washington said it's "been a pleasure" to lead his club thus far this year and he is looking forward to the postseason, where Austin will be looking for its 3rd BLB Rookie League championship. |
