Fontana Is King of Swing: Goes Deep 3 Times

Cleveland first baseman Joey Fontana blasted three homers today at Ballpark of Cleveland in the 12-9 Bobcats victory over the Sacramento Bears.
For the game, Joey Fontana scored 3 times and knocked in 4 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Fontana when he reached home plate.
"It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Fontana told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day."
Joey Fontana hit a solo-shot off Lawton Bonnet in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Lawton Bonnet in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ensley Sokoine in the 8th.
During the current season Fontana is batting at a .304 clip with 28 home runs and 63 RBIs. He has played in 58 games and scored 51 times.
