POR Star of the Week Announced Monday, August 4th , 2059 The premier performer in the Porter this week was Nik Old of the Rochester Monarchs. The hot-hitting 18-year-old first baseman put up a .400 average and .438 on-base percentage, piling up 6 hits in 15 at-bats, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 5 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the POR Player of the Week honors. This season Old has hit at a .271 clip with 68 RBIs, 23 home runs and 48 runs scored. |
