Henn's 20-Game Hit Streak Ends Thursday, July 31st , 2059 It just wasn't Jeremy Henn's day. The Delmont Miners took the 7-6 win today over the Niagara Falls Rapids, but the Rapids mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 20-game hitting streak of Miners shortstop Jeremy Henn. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Henn," Niagara Falls manager Chet Sanchez commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Miners have other hitters and they did their job today." Thus far this season in 37 games Henn is batting .367 with 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 51 hits in 139 at-bats. |
