Playoffs? No Chance for Chesapeake Tuesday, August 7th , 2063 It's back to the drawing board for the Chesapeake Mallards. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Chesapeake last appeared in the postseason in 2056. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 27 times in their 35 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Mallards have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
