Wenstrom Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, July 28th , 2059 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Atlantic City center fielder Robert Wenstrom. He went on a rampage last week against PIL hurlers and rapped out 8 hits in 23 at-bats for a .348 average while hitting 5 home runs, driving in 14 runs and scoring 8 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Pilsner Player of the Week trophy. Wenstrom was honored today at a press conference. Wenstrom is batting at a .279 pace this season, picking up 31 hits in 111 at-bats with 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
