Jeremy Goodson Chosen HS's Best Player Thursday, May 22nd , 2059 The future looks extremely bright for Jeremy Goodson. At the age of 17, many players are still trying to find their way in High School. Goodson has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the High School Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .349 this year, that's for sure," the catcher said. The Notre Dame HS Knights star also put up a .470 on-base percentage this year, with 51 hits, 6 doubles, 1 triple, 18 home runs, 40 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 32. Avery McKinney of the Hoover HS Pirates finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Dawson Overton of the Jefferson City HS Jaguars finished third with 6 first place votes.
