Best HS Reliever Named
Sunday, May 18th , 2059
Cody Masse was a calming influence out of the Alac C Pope HS Generals bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 14-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the High School Reliever of the Year Award for 2059.

The Yakima, Washington native won the award with 8 saves in 18 relief appearances, 39 strikeouts in 27 innings and a record of 4-0 to go with his 0.00 ERA.

He received 32 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Scott Devan of the Stoneman Douglas HS Eagles finished second in voting, while Logan Garfield of the Hoover HS Pirates finished third.
