Semifinals Goes the Distance, Poly Prep Country Day School Prevails Tuesday, May 1st , 2063 In an exciting Semifinals that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is High School fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Poly Prep Country Day School Blue Devils, who edged the Sulphur HS Golden Tornados 2-1 to advance to the HS Championship. Poly Prep Country Day School won the final game by a 4-3 count to wrap up the series. Joel Hakes earned series MVP honors, by hitting .444 with a .583 on-base percentage.
