Puyallup HS Moves on to HS Championship Monday, April 29th , 2058 The Puyallup HS Vandals outclassed the Huntington Beach HS Oilers in all facets of the game throughout the HS Semifinals. The end result was a Puyallup HS series sweep to advance to the HS Championship, capped off by a 2-0 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said first baseman Al Emmett, who hit .750 in the series. Emmett's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .750 on-base percentage and had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 1 runs. The HS Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Semifinals finishes.
