Sweet 16 Goes the Distance, Puyallup HS Prevails Friday, April 19th , 2058 It was a rousing finish to the Sweet 16 at Knight Park today. The Puyallup HS Vandals sent the Notre Dame HS Knights home for the season with a 7-4 win in the decisive game of the series. The Vandals took the series 2-1. Up next on their schedule is the Quarterfinals. Hauling in the MVP trophy was Puyallup HS second baseman Cody Dorman. His numbers included a .636 batting average, 1 RBIs and 2 runs. "With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Quarterfinals," he said. The Quarterfinals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Sweet 16 finishes.
