Patriots Prevail, as Sweet 16 Goes to the Wire Wednesday, April 19th , 2062 The fans in American Heritage HS are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Poly Prep Country Day School. The American Heritage HS Patriots finished off the Poly Prep Country Day School Blue Devils 2-0 in the deciding game of the Sweet 16 played at Devil Park. They took the series 2-1 and will now head to the Quarterfinals. For his standout play, American Heritage HS shortstop Seth Cole was voted the series' Most Valuable Player. He batted .385, drove in 2 runs and scored 3 to lead his club to victory. "We could never really figure out how to pitch to Cole and that doomed us," said Blue Devils manager Edwin Briggs.
